Within the framework of the 7th International Water Forum "Aqua Ukraine - 2009", which has taken place since the 10th through the 13th of November this year at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv there was held a conference of the Ukrainian Bottled Waters Association on the Ukrainian Bottled Water Market Tendencies.
At the conference there were raised the urgent issues of the Ukrainian HOD market: water standards and regulations, water quality, bottle quality, price wars, market tendencies, new brands and innovations.
Mykola Hurtovenko, the Nova director for development, gave a speech at this conference. According to M. Hurtovenko, the tendencies of the Ukrainian HOD market include the decrease in sales volumes, reduction of frequency and amount of ordered water deliveries, while the number of households enjoying this service has increased up to 7%.
Certainly, the macroeconomic issues have exercised their influence on the HOD companies, but the high quality product, high service level and loyal consumers for the basis of successfully business in HOD segment. |
